“I have a neurological condition and I have orthotics from The Stroud Foot Clinic.

The orthotics have improved my walking and my foot position.

They fit inside my shoes really well. I also use the orthotics in my aqua shoes when I do hydro therapy.. I just dry them off when I have finished and put them back into my outdoor shoes.

I would like to put in writing how happy I am with my orthotics. I have worn them every day for six months and they have been remarkable.

After years of low level constant foot pain and several attempts to fix the problem i was under the impression that not a huge amount could be achieved with out surgery. You have proved that significant improvement can be made without resorting to surgery. I run between 20 and 25 miles a week on road and across country and with my orthotics my feet  have been pain free. This is simply fantastic.

The durability of the products mean that i can use them in all of my running and work footwear which is a massive bonus.

I went to see Geoff Boldero in late 2018 with harsh pain in my foot (8-9/10 on a pain scale) whilst running (at this point it stopped me running over a mile). I then went to see Geoff, and through Geoff assessing the problem and then us trying a few different orthotic options, we found a solution that has dramatically decreased the pain in my foot and also hips. I now can run 10 miles with little pain (1-2/10 on a pain scale on occasions) in my foot, which I think is probably quite standard when doing longer distances. I went back today to get some more orthotics as I bought some new shoes and the service was brilliant again. Geoff is very professional, honest and knowledgeable and has great patience and understanding when it comes to any issues you have or any questions you ask. I’ve never been to a podiatrist before and had been struggling with my foot for quite a while. My recent experience was excellent. I was made to feel at ease during the booking process and during my appointment which was really thorough. After suffering with pain for quite a few months, the action taken at my appointment resolved things quite quickly. I had no need for a follow up appointment, although one was booked should I have needed it. Many thanks and highly recommend such a welcoming and professional service.

Jake’s feet are feeling much better now he is wearing insoles with additional support so at this stage I dont think he is in need of any follow up. Your service was fantastic and I will certainly have no issues recommending the clinic to others.

Hi Charlotte, A really big thank you for your help in resolving my long lasting PF. As you know this foot problem has been with me since last October. The exercise regime which you prescribed coupled with the orthotics (from your colleagues) has made a big difference and golf has once again become a pleasant experience (apart from the scores !).

Should the problem arise again I certainly know where to go to get relief from the pain. Best Wishes.

I had a very satisfactory appointment with Hannah. She was patient and thorough, making many notes. She was also very ‘ hands on’ with my problem foot. She gave me advice and sent me links which I have followed up.

I also now understand a lot more about the structure and mechanics of my feet which is always a good thing.

I would like to thank you at Stroud Foot Clinic for the service you provided. I was not sure what to expect but from my initial phone call onward I felt put at ease and professionally cared for. Hannah was thorough in her examination of my foot and provided me with a clear diagnosis along with her expert knowledge of the treatment necessary to provide recovery. This was then carried out by her and 48 hours later I can say the pain in my heal has already diminished considerably.

I would recommend anyone to your service knowing the advice and treatment is carried out to a very professional standard.

A relative new comer to Stroud, I discovered The Foot Clinic and sought treatment for the increasing pain in my feet. I appreciate the very friendly open and collaborative atmosphere at the clinic and the genuine desire to find the best treatment. I started having weekly foot massage with Lynne Gardiner and am excited and hopeful by the significant improvement and relief Lynne’s careful and caring work is bringing me. Honestly Jo was the best practitioner I have ever been to to have my feet done. Hannah was excellent, friendly, gentle and knowledgeable. She treated my corn, made a mould to support the toe and removed hard skin around my heels. I don’t need a follow up appointment but I would certainly not hesitate to visit again if needed.

I told your receptionist as I left, I thought I had just had a very good £75 worth of treatment. I was very impressed with Hannah and my problem toe is much more comfortable. She suggested that if I continue applying the spray it will hopefully be OK in 2 months – so review it then. In the meantime I will not hesitate to get in touch if it I need further advice or treatment. I was very impressed by everything that I received from the moment I stepped through the door.
